This wise student gives teachers some hints
In all my years of school, I have noticed that teachers use certain things to help boost morale in students. They use clever ways that really work and make kids really enjoy the teacher.
The most common thing that I see teachers doing is giving kids a study guide or review that has all the content that’s going to be on an upcoming test. Why is this such an effective way of getting those students on their side? Well, think about it. If you walk into a classroom, knowing you have a test in 5 minutes, and you were only given a general idea to study, you’re not going to be very confident on that test.
I really like it when the teachers tell us what’s going to be on the quiz – and I’m glad to see that so many teachers have noticed that many kids like this.
Another one of the big ones is when the teacher is not mean. My favorite teachers are the ones who don’t get angry all the time. Many students don’t like a teacher at all just because that teacher is mean. That shows how important this method is.
I have noticed that not many teachers do a free seating chart. Free seating means that we can sit anywhere we want, and we don’t have assigned seating. As I have said, this is a rare one, but it is a really good way of getting student’s appreciation. A lot of kids are more comfortable sitting next to friends.
Additionally, teachers can also use humor in the classroom. Everybody loves a good laugh, and teachers who are funny are among the most popular staff members. That’s because the bad puns and comical comments make the class interesting and more fun.
There are many more ways a teacher can be a good one. The list just starts here. I’m glad that I have plenty of teachers who are good ones and I hope that continues.
