Thanksgiving at Grandma's

Over the Thanksgiving Holidays, my family and I drove to Panama City for the day to visit my grandma, uncle, and cousins.

We checked the weather on Wednesday and thought it was going to rain cats and dogs. But luckily, it only sprinkled a little bit.

When we got to our destination, we went inside and started to play a game where someone gets on the stairs and tries to tag other people with a blanket.

After about 30 minutes, that got boring so we all sat down around the TV watching the Macy’s Holiday Parade in New York City.

An hour later we got dressed and went over to a restaurant to eat a Thanksgiving meal. We ate at a place named Saltwater Grill. At first, I smelled pizza. I asked the server, “Is there pizza in the buffet?” The server just replied, “No, silly, this is a Thanksgiving meal!”

So I just had to survive at least one Thanksgiving without pizza.

Later on, at grandma’s, we played a couple of board games like Apples-to-Apples and Life.

Next, we all gave hugs and kisses and got in our van and rode home.
