Street View is coming to town

Google Maps has a fairly new feature that was introduced more than a year ago. It's called Street View. A vehicle drives around every street of a city and takes a 360 degree picture of the area. Viewers can look at their home, office, school, and more just by going to maps.google.com and clicking on a little icon that looks like a man.

Google's Street View was just doing bigger cities, but now they've moved on to cities our size and also smaller ones such as Two Egg. By going to Google Maps, you can now see Tallahassee on the street view.

I first heard about this on the news when it was first starting. The last time my dad was looking on Google Maps, he discovered that they had done our area. Want to know what your friend's house looks like before going there? You can go onto Street View and see it! I like this new kind of technology that can allow us to virtually see the world.
