Attempt to download one song shows the Internet's not perfect

Just recently I was trying to download a song from the Internet. It was a pretty well known song that I wanted, but it was really hard to find a site where you could download it. Sure, there’s always iTunes, but you have to have an Apple account to use it, and nobody in my family has that.

Every place we looked at for a download of this song either wanted you to sign up for their site or they had the wrong version to download. After searching the net for probably a couple hours, my dad and I just gave up. We’d have to go to Borders and get the album for $15 or more instead of just buying that one song from the Internet for just about $1.

You might be wondering why we didn’t just go ahead and sign up to be a member of one of those sites or even iTunes. There’s not really a good answer to that, just that we didn’t want to take the time to do that if it’s only one song.

As of right now when I’m writing this article, I still haven’t gotten that song yet. I’ll probably just have to get another song that’s easier to find. In the meantime, I’m realizing that the internet really is not 100 percent perfect.
